Anyone can query the public registration record for a domain. A typical registrar puts your name, address, email, and phone number there, or hides them behind a paid WHOIS/ID-protection add-on that still stores your personal data.
When you register or transfer a domain through Mynymbox, Mynymbox Hosting LLC is the registrant of record. The public record lists us, not you. Your personal details are not placed in WHOIS. This is the registration model itself, not a privacy proxy sitting on top of your contact data.
You keep the contractual right to control, use, renew, assign, and transfer the domain, including a transfer to another registrar. See the Terms of Service and the Jurisdiction page.
Some TLDs cannot be registered this way (for example names that require a local individual contact such as .de or .us). We do not offer those under this model.
If you need the record changed to your own personal or business data, contact support. That choice is yours; it is not required to use the domain.
